Good things come to those who wait! Check out my awesome clothesline! Now I know some people might wish they had a posh, well-designed, finished basement, but around these parts, we look for function. I bet I could get two loads of laundry on these lines, which are mounted in the studs and easily tightened. Thanks to my sister and husband for all their help!
It's been taking our dryer 3 cycles to get the dipes fully dry, and I believe that with the pellet stove running, they'll be dry in no time (and for free!).
Total cost of the lines: $20 (including the M & Ms I bought to thank the kids for behaving while I dashed into Home Depot without them) and 30 minutes.
Hey!!! I just got an email that you posted on my blog...and look where it landed! :) I had no idea you have a blog, too. I'll have to take time to read your posts later on (essays waiting for me to grade), but for now, I will compliment you on the clothes line. I totally LOVE clothes lines--$, energy, and clothes savers (less wear and tear). Cool!
