Wait!

I got the hardware for my basement clothesline yesterday. It was a cinch, and just my luck that Home Depot had all the stuff in the same area: a couple of eye rings; a rope cleat; clothesline. With anything else, I'd just go, but I've never really seen myself as "handy". I would love nothing more than to string that clothesline today--right now! It's so nice to be able to do things for yourself. Mostly because there's no waiting. Then I could hang that load of diapers today--right now!

A couple of problems are that I don't know how to tie good knots. I'm also not that strong, and I need to bore pretty big holes. I found studs, began drilling, but I think I need to do a small hole and then a big one. I'm not sure. So I have to wait.

Dh says he'll do it tomorrow, because he'll likely have a snow day. I know my sister could help--she's way handier than I am--but she's sleeping now and working tonight. I don't want to bug her.

It'll just have to wait. Unless I get bold and make the attempt in my ignorance.
