Craft Basket Wednesday

Right now I'm working on the last legs of Doodle's sweater.  I'm making a size 6 with bulky yarn, but I'm knitting on 9s to shrink it down a little.  I'd like it if he could wear it more than one season, and since he's wearing a 5 now, I'm hopeful.

This is my first bottom-up raglan, and the tough part--joining in the sleeves--is over.  You can see that I have the shoulders and the v-neck left.  If I really put my mind to it, I could finish it this week.  I'm excited that in this pic it finally looks as if it's coming together.

The last thing I'm working on is Beatle's dress.  I hope I'll have it for Easter; otherwise, it'll be a birthday present.

It doesn't look like much yet because I had to rip out about this much a few days ago.  I lose track of my raglan increases (and yes, I am big on raglan garments.  I hate seaming.) with so many cute and irritating distractions.  Anyway, I'm just about out of room on this needle and just about ready to cast off the cap sleeves.   I do like the negative ease in the ribbed bodice, but man, is it monotonous!  The skirt is a cute lace pattern that'll be fun to knit.

  3. Positively beaming here. I'm new to this, so it's nice to get feedback! Thanks, Amy and Sarah. On the dress, I've just cast off the cap sleeves (and they're right!), so things should get interesting and much nicer looking now.
