The knitting posts will resume here. I hardly ever post, though I do think about my knitting, my plans, my projects and my yarn pretty regularly. For now, suffice to say that I have been stricken with a serious knitting bug. I'm having a summer baby (late spring, technically), and it just so happens that knitting, babies and cloth diapers make a wonderful combination. I can knit tees and tanks for a little boy--which I am positive that I am carrying (with no confirmation, mind you). If we happen to be having a little girl, there are tons of sundresses to be knit.
In the last two days, I've knit mitts for myself (the fingerless kind, so that I can type and knit with them on) and 1.5 "real" mittens for Beatle. Mine were a cinch, and hers are even easier. I don't even mind that I have to start all over (okay, I do mind a little and wish I could move on to the next project)--they can be finished in two hours. That's a good project.
On my mind are baby socks, a little gown for in the hospital (or maybe two), a little tee/diaper cover set (or two), a cotton romper, some t-shirts . . . and that's as far as I've gotten. Should keep me busy for the next 21.5 weeks.
