On more practical matters

I have nothing to knit.  I'm all knit out, I think, and just when I need to be knitting most.  Here's what happened:

1.  I knit all the projects I had to knit before the baby came.  Too soon.  Apparently I am knitting too fast, have had too little sleep and am too anxious.
2.  Projects that I had in mind are no longer appealing.  Miss Lulu decided she didn't like the socks I was knitting for her (me neither).  I have one and can't bring myself to knit another.
3.  I don't like some of the things I've started.  Like Lulu's sock, and this romper I'm knitting for the baby.  They just aren't right.  I hate the stripes I'm knitting, hate the color joins, hate its shape . . .
4.  I don't like the yarn I have for said projects.  Colors are wrong, texture is wrong, and I may not have enough.

So as with other things lately, I'm stuck.  Nothing is asking to be knit.  I have no inspiration.

Pooh.
