Yarn is calling

Itching to get on to those other projects. I've got a dress lined up for Beatle in a shockingly pink alpaca-silk blend. Luscious to knit kind of yarn, and in a color only a sassy two-year-old could pull off.

I'm ashamed to say that Doodle's sweater--the one I've been promising--is not calling to me at all. I've got this variegated bulky yarn for him, but lately I wonder if it's not "springy" enough. The natural solution would be a trip over to my favorite LYS, but since we're really trying to make that budget stick, I can't. Still, the perfect yarn--it's out there: I know--could put that project back at the top of my mental queue.
