After my earlier post, I felt inspired to finish a few things. I undid the cuff on Lulu's slipper and reknit it (again). It's done now: pics are taken, project is updated on ravelry, etc. It may fit for another week . . . at least now I know what to do. It was a good learning project.
I'd still like to put some grippy stripes on the soles--I hear puffy paint is a good option.
I also pulled out the infamous tie and took pics--doesn't it look like it could be long enough? I could swear that it is.
It looks okay, doesn't it? Perhaps by our convalidation anniversary (the end of May) I'll have it finished.
Finally, there's the sweater I'm putting together for Stephen. It's a bit of a pill, this one, but I'm loving how lush the ribs are. The fabric feels so nice--I hope it'll be like a hug every time he wears it.
The pattern calls for knitting the sleeves bottom up, and it's not entirely clear how the increases should be worked. I suppose I'll just figure it as I go and hope for the best!
